The pump is the heart of your pool’s circulation system. It removes waste from the water and disperses chemicals, maintaining water clarity and hygiene. The efficiency of your pool pump hinges on sufficient operational time and regular maintenance.

Filters work in tandem with your pool pump to capture undissolved and some dissolved debris, allowing pool chemicals to concentrate on eliminating bacteria and algae. Regular cleaning and maintenance of your filter will contribute to a cleaner, safer pool.

Gas heaters are common installations in Betz pools, significantly extending your swimming season by providing a warm, inviting pool environment. Regular servicing and cleaning, especially before pool start-up in the spring, will help to ensure optimal heater performance.

These devices maintain a steady flow of sanitizing chlorine or bromine in your pool water. The automatic chlorinator is the only place, other than the pool itself, where you should add pool chemicals.

The main drain, situated in the deepest area of the pool, allows water to flow from the pool bottom through the circulation system and filter. This aids in debris removal and water mixing, but does not serve as a drainage unit for the pool.

The automatic skimmer efficiently collects surface debris before it sinks to the pool bottom. Its adjustable weir adapts to fluctuating water levels, skimming the top layer of water. Emptying the skimmer basket regularly ensures its effectiveness.

The auto filler adds water to your pool when it drops below the set level. A maintained water level prevents the pump from running dry, which could cause motor damage or burnout.

Pool returns are inlet fittings usually positioned opposite the skimmer. They allow filtered water back into the pool and, when directed upwards, create surface circulation that drives floating debris towards the skimmers.
