A National Award of Excellence, and the Casey van Maris Award
2014 brought two named honours alongside the annual programme: a National Award of Excellence for Landscape Design from the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association, and the Casey van Maris Award from Landscape Ontario, given for innovative and unique design.

The Casey van Maris Award
The Casey van Maris Award is not presented every year. It goes to the project that earns the highest marks for execution of unique and innovative design, and in 2014 it went to a Betz concrete hot tub and swimming pool combination. Landscape Ontario’s Alex Zalewski presented it to Marc Luff of Betz Pools.
The same project had already taken a gold award in the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s 2013 Canadian Design & Construction Awards, and it went on to appear on the cover of Pool & Spa Marketing’s February 2014 issue.
To receive the Casey van Maris Award is truly an honour, but for us the most important measure of success is the satisfaction of our customers.
